Privacy Policy
The short version
Our founding principle is that AI should run where your data lives — on your machine, under your control. We build local-first software precisely so that your data never needs to reach us, and this website follows the same rule: no analytics, no tracking cookies, no accounts, no data collection beyond the ordinary short-lived logs any web server produces.
This website
When you visit intergenstudios.com, our web server records a standard access log: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user-agent string. We use these logs only to operate the site and investigate abuse, and they are routinely rotated and deleted. The site sets no tracking cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and embeds no third-party trackers. Links to external sites (GitHub, YouTube) take you to those services under their own privacy policies.
Our projects
InterGen Studios software is local-first and open source. Our projects — including J.A.R.V.I.S., VOQR, and InterGenOS — run on your hardware and are designed so that your data stays with you. None of them report usage, telemetry, or crash data to us.
Where a project has its own network-touching features and therefore its own detailed policy, that policy is published with the project. In particular, the InterGenOS operating system (including its websites and its optional cloud-account features) is covered by the InterGenOS Privacy Policy.
What we never do
We do not sell data, share data, profile visitors, serve ads, or fingerprint devices. We hold nothing about you beyond the transient server logs described above.
Data retention
Web-server access logs are rotated automatically: logs are archived monthly and each archive is deleted after the following month, so no access log is retained longer than about two months, and most are deleted sooner.
Children
Our site and software collect no personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
Changes will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
